The function of the Legal Counsel role is to provide efficient and effective in-house legal advice and services on all aspects of the business.

• Administer the efficient and effective execution of legal work.
• Draft and review legal documents, such as contracts, proxies, NDAs, warnings etc… in light of the applicable laws.
• Provide timely and accurate legal advice on statutory, regulatory and contractual matters.
• Research and evaluate different risk factors regarding business decisions and operations.
• Interact regularly and effectively with relevant stakeholders and staff as required.
• Manage legal relationship and communications with external parties/counsels and local regulators/authorities.
• Identify and undertake improvement opportunities relating to the legislative practice, using best practices and technology.
• Undertake investigation into procedural and operational issues and provide the appropriate input for their decision-making process.
• Lead and support meetings and negotiations to resolve issues.

Suitable candidates must have:

• Law Degree from an accredited university.
• 8-10 years of relevant legal experience in private practice and more recently in-house, GCC experience is must.
• Proficient oral and written communication skills in Arabic and English.
• Able to manage high volume workload.
• Understanding of best practices and experience putting them into application.
• High level of professional ethics and integrity.
